Intricate Silence

Silence is the cloak of the luna moth
whose harmony of palette and contour
outplays spring’s flurry of birdsong

When I steal under the folds
the intricacy of silence
suffices

 

 

 

 

Nancy K. Jentsch has taught German and Spanish for over 35 years. She has published poetry in journals such as Aurorean, Eclectica,and Blinders.
