Life in Death

In death there is light
Little rays poke and prod at the broken
Forcing its way in, one golden sliver at a time
Engulfing minds, touching souls
Enticing those damaged by grief
And look
At the sun filtering through the stained glass
The baby cooing in his mother’s arms
The light is not stopped by grief
Even after the rain it will shine again
just as bright as before the storm
