Feature Poets

Paul Szlosek was born in Southbridge, Massachusetts, but currently resides in the nearby metropolis of Worcester. He was co-founder and host of the long-running Poet’s Parlor poetry reading in Southbridge and Sturbridge, as well as a past recipient of the Jacob Knight Award for Poetry. His poems have appeared in various local publications including the Worcester Review, Worcester Magazine, Sahara, Concrete Wolf, Diner, and Soul-Lit. He’s probably best known in the Worcester poetry community for his fanatical obsession with obscure poetry forms, and has invented his own including the ziggurat, the streetbeatina, and (most recently) the hodgenelle.

Dariana Guerrero currently teaches English at the secondary level in Massachusetts. She recently graduated with a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Smith College and is pursuing her M.A. degree in English Literature at the Bread Loaf School of English at Middlebury College. Dariana has been published in a variety of national and internationally recognized literary magazines and journals. Dariana calls Lawrence, MA home.

Leah Meryl Harmon is a singer/songwriter and poet. Most recent performances of hers have been at the Burren Lunchtime Series, the Lizzard Lounge as a Featured Poet, and the 2015/2014 Salem Poetry Festival, as well as many open mics and soirées around the Boston area. Her album, Bound to Nothing, is available on iTunes, Spotify, and CD, baby. She has two self-published poetry titles available on request through email at Lmharmon77@gmail.com.
